Elexis “Lex” Gillette is known for being the best totally blind long jumper in the history of the US Paralympic movement. His sight beganto fade at 8 years of age due to recurrent retina detachments. Now when he jumps, he needs to have complete faith in his abilities and immeasurable courage.
